If you want to keep the existing screen in your car, then our CarPlay Retrofit Unit ticks all the boxes. This unit hides behind the centre console and supplies your car with Apple Car Play and Android Auto. The unit does not replace any of the components of the infotainment system and it allows the use of the current system in the car. 

This unit is compatible with the NBT EVO ID5 iD6 iDrive system and the system can be controlled by the iDrive controller and steering wheel controls.

Compatibility

Please note this is different to the CIC/NBT interface we also sell. If you car is 2016+ and displays an ID6 interface, but has a 6.5inch/ 8.8inch display, then this unit suits your car. Apple CarPlay activation is only suitable for ID5/ID6 Professional Navigation System.
